Position: System Administrator


Location: Reko Diq SITE Balochistan


Qualification:


  • Bachelors degree will be preferred.
  • O365, CCNA, VMware certification will be preferred

Experience:


  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.

Requirements:


  • English language proficiency is required with good communication, interpersonal and pressure handling skills.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere, Windows Server OS, Linux OS, and cloud technologies such as Office365, Azure, and SharePoint.
  • Strong experience with managing Cisco devices and networking hardware.
  • Proven track record of managing backup systems, storage arrays, and databases.
  • Expertise in VMware tools (ESX, ESXi, vSphere) for virtualization management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Domain Controllers, Linux OS, and cloud services (Office365, Azure).
  • Experience with managing and configuring storage arrays and storage servers.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Cisco networking devices.
  • Familiarity with data center operations, including managing physical infrastructure and ensuring uptime.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to monitor system health, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively address issues.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness:
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to implement solutions to safeguard the organizations IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with security protocols for both on-premises and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the Servers, Storage, Backup systems, virtualized infrastructure, including VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize virtual and physical machines performance to ensure optimal system uptime and reliability.
  • Provide technical support to end-users including software, hardware and network troubleshooting and solves IT related issues.
  • Hands on administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience with VMWare tools including ESX, ESXi/vSphere.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS, Domain Controller, Linux OS, Office365, Azure, SharePoint etc.
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
  • Manage and configure storage arrays and storage servers to meet the organization's data storage and backup requirements.
  • Manage Data Center operations.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco devices.
  • Adopt innovation/ initiative by company in context of IT Systems and Cyber Security and assist/guide users on that wherever possible.
  • In addition to all specific tasks mentioned above, he/she should be able to perform any other helpdesk function that may be required by the company from time to time.
