The role

We are looking for a Surveyor for our hydropower project based in Lower Kohistan, KPK Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting land surveys, preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of surveys, verifying the accuracy of survey data, and working with civil engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy of construction projects.

• Prepare detailed maps, drawings, and reports based on survey data.
• Analyze survey data to identify any potential issues or discrepancies that could impact project design or construction.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and other professionals to provide accurate survey data for project planning and design.
• Assist in the preparation of construction layouts, ensuring that all work is executed according to design specifications.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and government officials to coordinate surveying activities.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on hydropower and dam projects.
• Proven experience as a surveyor on similar large-scale projects, preferably in hydropower or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
