Job Description

Job Purpose


The analyst will partner with key stakeholders – e.g. Supply Managers, Customer Service & Logistics contacts - with the objective of designing solutions to better address business needs and to move from descriptive to prescriptive. The analyst will use supply chain data, systems and processes to support business partners in their functional areas to understand data trends and develop insights on interventions that are required to increase performance (Service, Cost, Cash). The analyst will lead a team of Data Analysts, supporting them and continuously improving the reports that are under the team’s responsibility.


Education, Experience & Skills


  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Engineering or Computer Science. Highly desired Master degree.


  • 6-8 years in a pharmaceutical or FMCG industry with deep understanding of the workings of an effective E2E supply chain, Knowledge of supply chain systems, data management and data manipulation – particularly in SAP modules relevant to planning and execution.


  • Mastery in BI technologies = Power BI. Knowledge of QlikView, Tableau etc.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead a team of 5 data analysts and foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.


  • Oversee the delivery of timely Standard reports from the Data & Analytics team continuously improving them.


  • Lead the design and development of advanced data models and analytical solutions partnering with key stakeholders in the supply chain.


  • Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.


  • Create and present detailed reports and visualizations to senior management.


  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics.


  • Implement new tools and methodologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.


  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team moving from descriptive to prescriptive.
