Overview

The Strategy Analyst provides relevant insights to help the company make the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify new ways to grow. The role captures information on the latest industry trends and global transformations by leveraging data gathered from extensive research. It supports strategy formulation and business development by distinguishing relevant information from less critical data in solving business problems or identifying opportunities.

The Strategy Analyst also plays a critical role in managing communication and engagement with internal stakeholders, group stakeholders, and executive boards, ensuring strategic alignment and informed decision-making. The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration to drive business impact.

The role reports directly to the Manager Strategy and collaborates with an extended team of 10 members.

What does a Strategy Analyst do?

• Industry Trends Monitoring & Opportunity Identification – Stay updated on policy, macroeconomic, and industry trends, analyzing their impact on Jazz's operations and strategy. Identify opportunities beneficial to Jazz.
• Data Analysis – Conduct market research, analyze financial performance, and track competitive intelligence to contribute to strategy formulation. Collaborate with finance and commercial departments to align strategies and provide value-added analysis.
• Strategic Insights – based on market knowledge and awareness, provide relevant insights to aid in decision-making, address challenges, and explore new avenues for growth.
• Stakeholder Communication & Engagement – Manage interactions with internal stakeholders, group stakeholders, and executive boards, ensuring effective information flow and alignment on key strategic initiatives.
• Presentation Development – Create engaging internal strategy presentations by gathering insights from various departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction and objectives.
• Comprehensive Database Management – Maintain an organized database of global telecom and digital ecosystem events, as well as internal work and company data, to facilitate easy access, efficiency, and sustainable task execution.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Strategy Analyst?

• Awareness of key economic and capital markets issues, as well as other business trends that could impact the future of Jazz.
• An independent and self-driven researcher.
• Strong analytical competence and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft suite especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Understanding of finance and commercial metrics is critical.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams independently and engage with senior executives across departments.

Education/ Experience

• Bachelors or Master degree in business management, finance or economics.
• Minimum 3 years work experience with a stint in similar role requiring stakeholder management and communication.
