Qualification

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification preferred).

Experience

Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on vendor development and management.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and procurement trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective vendor and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
• Experience in the mining or construction industry will be an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical procurement practices and adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors, ensuring they meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance, addressing any discrepancies or issues to maintain high-quality standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, alternative suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Implement vendor management frameworks, including regular audits, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support sustainability initiatives by sourcing environmentally friendly and ethical materials.
