ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Additional Job DescriptionCompetency in the ‘C’ programming language.A good understanding of computer architecture, microprocessor internals; advantage to have understanding on ARM.Good in triaging stability issue .Ability to use a debugger (gdb, T32) to perform at least simple operations such as setting breakpoints, single stepping, examining variable values, examining memory, examining registers.In depth Knowledge in Linux KernelAn understanding of memory regions, and their uses.Good knowledge of what interrupts are and how they work in code.Awareness of Android high level ArchitectureFamiliarity with scripting language like perl and pythonGood written and verbal communication skillsApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
