Senior SQA Engineer - Karachi

Client Company Introduction:

A prominent conglomerate/group has launched a BPO business with a focus on technology solutions and seeking exceptional individuals to join their team. The conglomerate operates in and runs various business verticals including logistics, distribution, food retail, market research and data, agri-services, tourism and hospitality, and customer engagement platforms.

Job Role:

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Create and conduct automated testing of software applications, including integration and regression testing using Playwright, with a preference for JavaScript.
• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution, ensuring that all critical issues are prioritized and resolved promptly.
• Participate in the review of requirements and design documents to ensure testability.
• Document testing results and create test reports for various stakeholders, including senior management.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, driving the adoption of best practices and standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in software testing, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.
• Must have knowledge of Cypress/Playwright.
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of project management and test management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
• Experience in testing responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in Mobile application Testing

Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Timings: 3 PM - 12 AM

Experience: 3+years
