Job Role / Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Senior Manager Transformation, you will be responsible to work with the team to develop solutions to improve processes and create efficiencies. This role will be actively involved in Transformation initiatives during Electronic Health Record implementation as well as Process Improvement Projects at AKU. Utilizing workflow analysis & design principles, and strong communication skills the role will engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple projects that aim to align people, processes, and technology.


This role will be responsible to streamline & standardize processes across AKU and identifying areas where performance or processes can be improved. Understanding and measuring the impact of implementations is also a key aspect of this role. You will also be responsible for working on and analyzing large amounts of data through various data modelling techniques and creating professional quality reports and presentations.


Specifically, you will be responsible for;


·Lead and facilitate AKU wide EHR deployment, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and administrative needs.


·Act as a bridge between clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure alignment on EHR objectives.


·Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in digital transformation.


·Contribute to the development of strategies, and project plans, project reports, presentations, and communications.


·Conduct deep-dive current-state and future-state process mapping, leveraging lean methodologies to identify inefficiencies and drive workflow optimization.


·Identify gaps, non-value adding tasks and develop solutions to enhance process effectiveness.


·Support the design and development of required interfaces and enhancements, and lead Iteration activities


·Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change resulting from IT implementations and change efforts.


·Ensure sustainability of change through data analysis, reporting, and frequent engagement with key process owners / stakeholders


·Collate, verify, analyze and present data from varied sources across the organization.


·Design and implement training and upskilling programs to enhance end-user proficiency and system utilization.


       ·Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders as and when required


Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:


·  The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in, Healthcare Administration, Process/Operations Management, Computer Science degree would be essential.


·Strong proficiency in process improvement & change methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen., Porsci, ADKAR etc


·Excellent knowledge of process mapping and analysis techniques.


·Project management certification is a plus.


        ·      Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as MS Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, Visio, Project, Canva


 ·Minimum 3-4 years of experience in digital transformation, EHR implementation, business process optimization projects within the context of university hospitals, spanning from the conceptual design stage to post-implementation support.


 ·Proven expertise in Change Management initiatives, delivering measurable results.


 ·Strong capability in developing and delivering impactful presentations to engage and influence relevant stakeholders effectively.


         ·Experience in internal consulting will be considered an additional advantage, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the role.
