Position Related:
The position will be responsible development, testing and maintenance of Middleware, front end. This role will be a key player for development and quality assurance, working closely with architect, Operations and business team.
Goals
- To deliver micro service-based solutions deployed on local & Cloud Infrastructure
- Ensure timely delivery of applications / services meeting quality standard
- Ability to design systems & Modules from scratch and ensuring best design and architectural patterns are used.
- To provide efficient Design & Development support to Allente customers in Nordic region
Your typical day at work
- To develop Rest based services with in-depth knowledge of Java Spring Boot framework.
- Talk to internal and external stakeholders to discuss and clarify requirements and solutions.
- Integrate application/services with several new partners (Mobile/Card Payment & Streaming)
- Develop excellent business/domain knowledge and apply it in day to day work.
- Conduct root cause analysis, Identify and suggests areas of improvements.
- Provide input and improvements to both the component and the solution as a whole
- Adapt and refactor components to cloud services as relevant
- Raise flag where delays are encountered, or risk is identified
- Work proactively following self-driven approach
- Ensure Telenor Way and Values are followed in day to day work
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Bachelors/Masters in IT/Computer Science
Work experience:
- Fresh Candidate or less than 2 years of Experience.
- Java development Experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring Jdbc, HTTP/SOAP & Restful services.
- Knowledge/Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding/experience of design for scalability, performance and reliability, preferably in Amazon Web Services will be a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience with Docker, Kubernetes & Linux will be a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience with Web frameworks such as Angular will be a plus.
- Managing a continuous integration/deployment methodology for our micro-service based technologies
Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas
- Hands on experience in developing & integrating Java/J2EE Applications.
- Technically sound with Object Oriented Programming Concepts
- Knowledge of DevOps methodology.
- Strong analytical skills and solution driven approach
- Ability to deliver in a fast paced and challenging environment focused on customer satisfaction and centricity.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Should have aptitude towards researching and developing new tools and techniques.
