Position: Skid Steer Loader Operator
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site-Baluchistan
Qualification
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
Experience
- At least 4 years of experience operating skid steer loaders, preferably in mining or construction projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in operating various attachments, such as buckets, augers, forks, and sweepers.
- Knowledge of soil types, material handling techniques, and site grading principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and address minor mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations for heavy equipment operations in industrial and mining environments.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work in challenging outdoor and remote site conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer loaders to perform tasks such as material handling, excavation, backfilling, and site cleanup.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the skid steer loader is in safe and functional condition.
- Follow operational plans and instructions provided by supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain the skid steer loader by performing routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, and transport of materials using the loader.
- Adhere to RDMC safety protocols and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of daily work, equipment usage, and any incidents encountered.
- Operate the loader in various site conditions, including confined spaces, rough terrains, and slopes.
