SEO Specialist (Programmatic & Local)
Code District is looking for an experienced Programmatic SEO Expert to join our team, focused on implementing and optimizing local SEO strategies through programmatic SEO methods. You will be responsible for building and managing pages on WordPress tailored to capture local search intent and improve our visibility in target regions. A strong understanding of link-building tactics is essential for this role, as is hands-on experience in WordPress and programmatic SEO techniques.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research on local search keywords to identify opportunities for programmatic SEO.
Create and manage high-quality, intent-driven local pages on WordPress to capture target audience interest.
Optimize pages for local search queries, ensuring SEO best practices are consistently applied.
Develop and execute a link-building strategy to boost domain authority and search engine rankings.
Monitor SEO performance metrics, including local rankings, traffic, and conversions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure local content aligns with SEO goals and maintains high quality.
Regularly audit and update local pages for SEO improvements, user experience, and search relevance.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in SEO, with a focus on programmatic SEO and local SEO.
Proficiency in WordPress and experience with programmatic SEO tools and plugins.
Strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush) and link-building strategies.
Proven track record of improving search visibility for local keywords and creating pages at scale.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
