About the Role:
At Motive, the growth marketing team is responsible for maximizing growth and new customer acquisition. The responsibilities of the team span the entire customer journey - from the first touchpoint to upsell and retention. We’re looking for a strategic, collaborative, and technologically savvy Web Producer who is passionate about implementing web experiences that are user-friendly, well-functioning, and meet compliance standards. The ideal candidate understands website best practices, is a strong project manager who can optimize production and operations cycles, and ideally has HTML/CSS experience. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with program managers, product managers, content writers, designers, and other developers. You should be comfortable facilitating between various teams to maintain project deadlines, including coordinating the receipt of assets, coordinating comprehensive quality assurance checks, conducting client reviews, and publishing flawless experiences.
This role will be a good fit if you have the ability to work with a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic cross-functional team. Having a sense of ownership where you take pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success is key.
What You'll Do:
Coordinating, authoring, and launching website content through a CMS across desktop and mobile devices.
Proactively identify and improve processes for efficiency, risk mitigation, or quality improvements that align with business objectives and technical capabilities.
Train and support stakeholders on pages with self-serve publishing capabilities.
Manage QA to ensure comprehensive test plans are in place for all site updates.
Site audits with timely follow-up to resolve issues.
Liaise with the web engineering team to support the deployment of new features, reporting and tracking website bugs or problems, and quality control testing.
Support other web development and production tasks, as necessary, including potentially conducting some research projects related to digital best practices.
Key communicator/liaison between the key business web team, project stakeholders, and development for site updates
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience as a Web Producer / Content Publisher in a professional work environment.
Knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5, is a plus.
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector, Firebug, and Lighthouse.
Fluency with content management systems like WordPress.
Knowledge of UX/UI and web design best practices (mobile first, responsive, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, landing pages, user journeys, site structure).
Strong understanding of website best practices, including but not limited to: A/B Testing, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, SEO, Social Media Content, and Ads Management is a plus.
Proven organizational skills and relentless attention to detail.
Experience with project management software like Jira and Asana.
Highly communicative, written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate between Engineering, Design, Strategy, and Product teams.
