Who do we look for? We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Technology Architect to create repeatable architecture patterns and produce Infrastructure Solution Designs. Security and Service are key aspects of these Designs. This entails undertaking structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution. At DSV Solutions, we partner with our customers to design and deliver logistics solutions that enable efficient operations and increase cost efficiency for hundreds of logistics facilities across the world. We cover 4 vital delivery areas, including warehouse management systems, automation solutions and connected/core applications. Your new team Digital Applications is a part of our core foundation and includes claims management, digital products, and return/repair management, PoS Tool – just to name a few. This development position will be responsible for converting business requirements into technology solutions, Design and Preparation of Technical Documentation (SDD), On time infrastrcuture readiness for all environments for the applications and alignment with developers and DevOps team from architectural solution perspective. Roles & Responsibilities: • Define architectural principles, design patterns and coding standards to ensure consistency, maintainability, and reusability of IT solutions. • Assess and evaluate various technologies, platforms, frameworks, and tools to determine their suitability for the organization's IT landscape. • Consider factors such as performance, scalability, security, compatibility, and costeffectiveness. Make recommendations and guide the selection of appropriate technologies. • Strictly adhere to technology standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization. • Design end-to-end solutions that align with business requirements and leverage Kafka, Kafka Streams, KSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes. • Apply expertise in software design patterns to develop scalable and maintainable solutions. • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of peripheral subjects such as data governance, ensuring data quality, availability, and security. • Integrate security practices seamlessly into the development and operations lifecycle, fostering a DevSecOps culture. As a person, you are outgoing, enabling you to identify and work with multiple stakeholders. Of course, it is also important to be able to think innovatively and encourage new ways of working. You must be able to navigate an environment where changes are a constant due to our mergers and acquisitions and where deadlines can be tight at times. Required Experience: • An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Information Technology/Computer Science or related discipline. • From overall 10-12 years of IT experience, 5-8 years of working experience in technology development & implementation and/or migration projects with logistics domain knowledge. Most important • Fluent in microservice frameworks like C# .NET - ASP.NET or Java - Spring Boot. • At least 4-6 years of production experience in Complex Event processing systems (Ecommerce Solutions, claim management, Migration Projects including M&A etc.) • Have strong hands-on experience in Angular/React, Java and/or C#, .NET, TypeScript and SQL • Has expertise with, or affinity for quickly adopting, related tools and technologies: Cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, (Open) API, containerisation, event architecture, … just to name a few. • Extensive experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors, Joins, database objects, Sub Queries/Inline view. • Experience in developing JSON schemas, and respective usage/development of producer/consumer and KStream application using schemas. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL. Fairly important • Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code in .Net for proof of concept and prototype development. • Ability to understand networking concepts such as Firewall, DNS, load balanacer. • Familiar with security certificates and protocols such as WAF, authentitication and authorization OATH2 concepts. • Knowledge of data governance principles, ensuring data quality, availability, and integrity. Least important • Experience with Azure Cloud services / AWS Solutions and understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment. • Background in designing, developing, and maintaining data platforms.
