A university degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field including trade structural, mechanical and Electrical desirable
Advanced knowledge in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Scheduler in the Construction industry, preferably in Mining and Engineering projects
Participates in the efforts of planning to establish the most time and cost-effective methods of engineering, procurement, fabrication and logistics to support the execution schedule
Requirements
Good technical knowledge of Engineering and Fabrication
Highly proficient of Primavera use and MS Project
Proficient in standard Microsoft applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Power Bi Knowledge Desirable
High presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
Good organization and ability to multi-task.
Detail orientated and proactive.
Time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Problem solving and the ability to make informed and rational decisions.
Responsibilities
Incorporate EPCM schedules into Level 1 – Level 3 integrated project schedules in Primavera P6 Professional. Update and maintain on a regular basis.
Work with Lead Planner to establish Project Master Schedule and Project baseline schedule
Keep all the planning, scheduling and progress data up to date to support the monthly project reporting, monthly progress meetings, and any audits conducted on the projects.
Conduct schedule quality analysis to ensure it complies with good scheduling practices. Identify and report on project slippages
Update the Project Master Schedule regularly to provide schedule update reports to the Key Project Stakeholders. Identify any areas of concern and forecast the latest dates for key milestones based on the current performance trends.
Review and comment to Lead Planner on Contractors’ schedules to be integrated into the master project schedule.
Provide the latest forecast dates to Project Controls for cost planning and contracting on the project.
Conduct / participate in the regular schedule and progress meetings.
Provide inputs needed for Quantitative Risk Analysis and run “What – If” Analysis as per the project needs. This includes critical path analysis, 3-point estimate, and risk mapping, continuously and proactively identify the time and cost-related risks, issues, and lessons learned arising throughout the project in their respective domains and immediately.
