Job Description

As a Senior Salesforce Developer at ExtraHop, you will be a core member of the small but mighty Applications team empowering departments across our growing business. You'll have excellent technical and communication skills. You will collaborate directly with stakeholders and other members of our team to solve complex business problems using well-architected, scalable solutions using a combination of declarative and coded automation.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop software with Apex, Lightning Components, Javascript, and other Salesforce, HTTP and cloud technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to define and implement process improvement.
  • Conduct system and software testing, and code review to ensure high code quality, maintainability and design.
  • Manage integrations with existing systems and develop new ones.
  • Document code, applications, and security setup.
  • Stay abreast of changes and new features in Salesforce by reviewing release notes, participating in developer forums and/or user groups.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Deliver solutions that meet business needs and generate user happiness.
  • Research and recommend appropriate application development best practices and tools.
  • Implement solutions with the most appropriate tools using declarative solutions and/or code in new features.
