Manager/ Senior Manager –Indirect Sales

What you will do


As business lead of Indirect Applied Equipment based in Hyderabad and will directly report to the Deputy General Manager – Indirect Sales South. You will be part of an emergent team that is responsible for expanding the sales network through Channel Partners, and Distributors, for our Applied Equipment (Mini Chillers, Heat Pumps, Airside Products etc.) business in order to achieve high growth aligned to the strategy in EMEA & India markets. You will be responsible for business development and enabling capabilities of Channel Partners and Distributor to sell YORK Johnson Controls exclusive chillers product line in Kolkata Market. Position YORK@Variable Water Flow system as better alternative to conventional VRF with end customers. Work in close collaboration with Distributor Design and Project Team to lead the opportunity till closure. Achieve Annual Target of revenue and margin for Channel and Distributor Sales in defined markets in South India. You shall identify, engage, enable sub dealers of the distributor to cover wider markets to achieve your sales Target. You shall build your network with Architects, PMC, System Integrators, design Consultants for driving the concept and acceptability with spec in/design and build. Articulate market information (market prices, volume, growth, competitor actions, etc.) and propose a growth action plan for each channel in the territory to executive management.  Candidate shall be required to engage with end user along with channel partners to position JCI product benefits and Channel as partner of choice. Identify and work with ecosystem of solution partners and stitch complete solutions to meet customer’s needs. Channel support on sales, service, execution, training , seminars , product promotion.


How you will do it


You will be techno-commercial person with domain knowledge of VRF or HVAC system design and chiller knowledge.


  • Strong knowledge of various cooling and heating solutions required by different market verticals/applications.
  • Strong knowledge of VRF and networked with VRF dealers.
  • Strong knowledge of Channel business KPI, operations and fulfillment
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Strong Business acumen with flair to build relationships (Farming Sales approach)

Year of Experience   : Min 6 to 9 years


Qualification            : BE Mechanical / Electrical with good academic track record
