Job Description

Introduction


The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities


You will be responsible to:


  • Closely coordinate on daily basis with the research specialist and principal investigator
  • produce daily report of research updates
  • manage the research activities under the supervision of principal investigator.
  • keep record of all the research activities and regularly create deliverable reports
  • coordinate and manage research budgetary activities
  • coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders from different field teams regarding project updates and activities
  • keep a track of project monitoring framework
  • excellent organizational capabilities and ability to handle diverse set of tasks for multiple studies simultaneously

Requirement


You should have:


  • A degree in economics or educational management or equivalent
  • having a certificate in early childhood parenting and project management will be added benefit
  • 01 years of experience working in research administration with reputable Healthcare sector
  • ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.Having knowledge about ECD thematic areas
  • good communication and interpersonal Skills
  • resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
  • willing to work in the communities/field sites
  • good Computer and Report Writing Skills.
