The Aga Khan University was founded in 1983 as Pakistan’s first private university. Aga Khan University is a not-for-profit institution and an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network. Starting in 2000, the University expanded to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom and Afghanistan. AKU began life as a health-sciences university.The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the academic department of the University to support wide range in-patient and outpatient women’s healthcare services pertinent to general obstetrics and gynaeoclogy, lactation consultancy, family planning and parenting education. In addition to the core services, department also caters to wide range of specialized services such as Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogyneoclogy and Pediatrics & Adolescent gynaeoclogy. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:


  • assist in designing and implementing impactful research studies
  • collect, clean, and analyze qualitative & quantitative data
  • conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings
  • support in writing research reports, manuscripts & grant proposals
  • ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in research activities.
Requirements

You should have: 


  • preferably enrolled in a Master’s program in Public Health or Health Policy Management
  • experience in Early Childhood Development (ECD) is a plus
  • must have completed ECD Newborn Educator training
  • strong research, analytical & writing skills
  • proficiency in MS Office & relevant research software
  • ability to multitask and work both independently & in teams.
