Job Description

Introduction


The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities    


You will be responsible to:


  • prepare weekly reports and report it to Project supervisors
  • provide and Record keeping of project incentive with social mobilizers
  • translate and Urdu typing of project documents
  • maintain all the project data in proper manner
  • plan and conduct awareness sessions in community
  • provide proper counselling to study participants
  • coordinate with the project supervisors to discuss field related activities
  • provide training to the staff as per the protocols and guidelines of study
  • highly organized and self-motivated
  • conduct field-based clinical assessments of study participants, including vital signs, basic physical exams, and sample collection as per study protocols
  • ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of biological samples 

Requirement


You should have:


  • Bachelor’ s degree Graduation in Social Science or any other relevant degree
  • 1 – 2 years of related work experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • good writing skills
  • basic Knowledge of survey and other research designs
  • ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
  • good communication and interpersonal Skills
  • resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
  • willing to work in the communities/field sites
  • good Computer and Report Writing Skills
