Job Description

As a Senior Product Associate within the Card Services team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities
  • Understand customer problems, convert them into problem statements, and provide innovative solutions through design thinking.
  • Collaborate with data, design, and engineering teams to conduct discovery and assess the impact of the problem.
  • Lead end-to-end feature ownership from ideation to implementation, maintenance, and support.
  • Write initiatives, contribute to user stories and acceptance criteria, and participate in all agile events.
  • Develop business requirements clearly for developers.
  • Support product road mapping, sprint planning, and build strong relationships with stakeholders for effective decision-making and go-to-market planning.
  • Collaborate with product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understand the technology roadmap and support end-to-end testing lifecycle.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 3 years of product management or technical business analyst experience, including defining user experience needs, writing epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Direct experience working in an agile team, mastery of agile practices, and proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
  • Passion for online and mobile technology, with knowledge of industry structure, trends, and key companies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to design customer-focused products, execute product release plans, and adapt to internal and market changes.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals related to digital experience, product performance KPIs, time-to-market, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in software development or programming, essential due to the technical nature of the role.
  • Expertise in user-centric designs to drive optimal customer journey outcomes.
  • Experience working with distributed scrum teams is a plus.
  • Understanding of the card issuing industry and its economics.
