Job Description
  • Broad understanding of GIS, Transformer, Switchgear, Protection and Control (P C), SCADA, SAS, Telecom, Tele protection, as well as substation design. Responsible to Deliver accurate and thorough designs that meet applicable industry standards, international design standards and engineering practices.
  • Preparation of specifications for Substation Equipments and components. Preparation of all engineering calculations like Grounding, lighting, lightning, load calculations, breaker & cable calculations, equipment sizing, short circuit, bus-bar sizing, overhead conductor sizing, sag tension, cable pulling & tension calculations etc.
  • Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings including equipment Layouts, single line diagrams, lighting, lightening, grounding, cable tray layouts, route plans, plan and profiles, structure lists, sag template curves etc.
  • Perform all power system studies like load flow, short circuit, motor starting, stability, arc flash, harmonics, grid impact study, insulation coordination study, transient studies etc.
  • Perform quality reviews of electrical engineering work of Manufacturer deliverables. Act as lead Engineer and ensure the implementation of inter discipline coordination system before issue the drawing.


My profile

Candidates should have bachelor’s degree with min 12 yrs. of extensive experience in Primary engineering works related to EHV/HV Substations, DRPC/SVC Stations, OHTL & Underground distribution




Skills Required- ETAP/PSCAD/PLSCADD/CDEGS/CYMGRD/DIALUX/DIgSILENT /PLEXOS energy modelling and other power system engineering simulation software’s


Mandatory Requirement – Candidate Shall be familiar with SEC standards and practices.


Experience in Power plants including PV Plants, HVDC System will be added advantage.
