Job Description
We are looking for a Power BI Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be skilled in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and will collaborate closely with data scientists and business teams to support analytics and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards to support policy and decision-making.
- Transform complex datasets into clear and impactful visual insights.
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to translate business requirements into compelling reports.
- Optimize data models, DAX queries, and performance tuning for efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in all visual reports.
- Implement best practices for data visualization, storytelling, and user experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing dashboards based on stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
- Troubleshoot Power BI performance issues and improve dashboard efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelors or equivalent Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling, measures, and report optimization.
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data transformations.
- Good understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience working with business teams and data scientists to create impactful reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for design and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
