Who do we look for? We are seeking a highly talented Senior IT Developer (.Net Microservices) to build high-quality software that is scalable and futureproof and to support designing and developing new IT solutions as we continue the development of existing solutions. This entails engaging in solution architecture discussions, doing DevOps work as well as building, testing, and deploying the software. At DSV Solutions, we partner with our customers to design and deliver logistics solutions that enable efficient operations and increase cost efficiency for hundreds of logistics facilities across the world. We cover 4 vital delivery areas, including warehouse management systems, automation solutions and connected/core applications. Your new team Digital Platform is a part of our core foundation and includes claims management, digital products, and return/repair management, PoS Tool – just to name a few. This development position will be responsible for designing and developing microservices to provide solutions supporting business needs. The qualified candidate will have experience with the full software development life cycle and hands-on development using C#/. NET and microservices. Roles & Responsibilities: • Designing and developing solutions using a microservices pattern and structure • Delivering code increments using Scrum and 4-week sprint cycles • Developing test automation to deliver high-quality microservices • Setting up and enhancing a continuous integration process • Take part in the development of our new digital products • Handle DevOps tasks to make sure we can deliver, and that our development infrastructure is fully functioning • Build, test, and deploy software using our standard CI/CD pipelines • Build microservices for processing data, read/write to the database, expose data to other applications, and more • Build security features into the solution such as federated authentication and authorization, role-based access control, and similar As a person, you are outgoing, enabling you to identify and work with multiple stakeholders. Of course, it is also important to be able to think innovatively and encourage new ways of working. You must be able to navigate an environment where changes are a constant due to our mergers and acquisitions and where deadlines can be tight at times. Required Experience: • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT/ICT or related field • 7 to 10 years of hands-on C#/. NET & SQL / PostgreSQL Server development experience • Experience with understanding and meeting security requirements • Hands-on development of microservices using C#/. NET • Understanding of microservice deployment options • Proven track record of solving highly technical problems • Experience working in source control systems, preferably Git • Experience converting legacy services into microservices • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Azure Cloud experience • Understand data processing and can troubleshoot code and database issues • Can participate in code reviews, provide, and accept reviews as well as ensure performance and security of coding • Have experience in the SSDLC process • May have experience in Java, Bootstrap, CSS3, MVC.NET, Asp.Net, .Net Core and OOPS, though it’s not a prerequisite • Extensive experience in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors, Joins, database objects, Sub Queries/Inline view • Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it Behaviour Skill: • Service minded and customer driven • Great interpersonal skills, with good command over spoken and written English • Self-motivated, organized • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills • A great team player and a strong collaborator. • Must be able to work in a team environment to meet strict deadlines and compliance criteria defined by different teams • Ability to work under pressure and multitasking Location: Hyderabad (India) We offer you: The opportunity to expand your experience in a truly international, world-class company whose philosophy is that your everyday work should be both varied and full of professional challenges, with wide opportunities for constant professional and personal development.
