Job Description
The
Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SR HRBP) is a strategic role
responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The
SR HRBP serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, acting as an
employee champion and change agent. The role involves formulating partnerships
across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and
employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Provide expert guidance on a wide range of HR topics including talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and employee relations.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a strategic HRBP role.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Experience with HR software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
