Job Purpose
As a Senior O2C (Order-to-Cash) Financial Analyst at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the accounts receivable process. You will be responsible for ensuring timely recovery of receivables, resolving disputes, and maintaining healthy financial relationships with stakeholders.
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounts receivable, financial analysis, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Receivables Management:
Follow up with key stakeholders and the CS&L team regarding overdue invoices.
Directly contact customers to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
Perform reconciliation on old outstanding debts and propose conclusive solutions.
Support customers and the CS&L team in dispute resolution.
Audit and Reporting:
Collaborate closely with internal and external audit teams to resolve queries and provide satisfactory responses.
Prepare monthly AR presentations for senior management to keep them informed about the country's accounts receivable and bad debt status.
Deliver multiple comprehensive reports on account receivable insights to the CS&L teams.
Payment Processing:
Ensure the timely posting of payments made by customers to release pending orders and facilitate a smooth Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.
Coordinate with the cash application and credit management teams to ensure proper application of customer receipts and resolve any order blocks.
Ensure that deductions made by customers from payments are justifiable and guide the cash application team regarding relevant GL accounts.
Performance Monitoring:
Perform monthly ICFW control and KPI calculations, ensuring key KPIs are achieved.
Put in extra effort to meet KPIs if they are not met.
Conduct regular management presentations addressing key areas including revenue and receivables as required.
