Job Description

The Senior Business Strategist will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, driving both internal business strategy and external communications to foster growth, strengthen market position, and enhance stakeholder relationships. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis, and public relations to align the company’s internal goals with external visibility, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving long-term success.
1. Strategic Planning & Development
Lead the formulation and execution of comprehensive business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.
Collaborate with executive leadership to establish priorities and measurable objectives.
Identify risks and opportunities, offering actionable recommendations to mitigate threats or capitalize on growth areas.
2. Internal Collaboration & Change Management
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies across departments.
Act as a bridge between senior leadership and operational teams to drive the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Support organizational transformations by fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation.
Champion change management efforts to ensure the seamless adoption of new processes and strategies.
3. Market & Competitive Analysis
Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to guide decision-making and positioning.
Develop insights and recommendations to capitalize on market trends and adapt to competitive dynamics.
Conduct periodic reviews of market performance metrics and strategic initiatives.
4. External Relations & Media Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry stakeholders.
Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and communication materials to enhance brand visibility.
Represent the company at media events, industry conferences, and other public forums.
Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company spokespeople.
5. Event Planning & Coordination
Plan and execute strategic events, such as product launches, conferences, and press engagements.
Oversee sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other initiatives to amplify the company’s market presence.
Ensure all events and activities align with brand messaging and organizational objectives.
6. Social Media & Digital Presence
Oversee the company’s social media strategies in collaboration with the digital marketing team.
Manage online PR campaigns and monitor public sentiment on digital platforms.
Address queries or concerns raised on social media to maintain a positive brand image.
7. Reporting & Communication
Regularly present updates on strategic initiatives, performance metrics, and market trends to senior leadership.
Prepare clear, actionable reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate strategic insights and recommendations effectively across various levels of the organization.


Qualification


Educational Background:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of proven experience in business strategy, public relations, or a similar leadership role preferably in the IT sector
