Role : Senior Business Manager


Location : Delhi


Job Purpose/Overview


This is frontline manager role having a responsibility of managing the channel sales. This is an important role


considering this to be the link between the various departments and frontline sales force and customers.


Job Responsibilities


1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve periodic, quarterly, and annual sales targets


2. Recruit, train, and manage a team of Area Sales Executives & SS


3. Set performance goals and provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to enhance team productivity.


4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.


5. Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and territory coverage.


6. Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and sales processes.


7. Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and recommend corrective actions.


8. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to enhance efficiency and profitability.


Context and Scope


This role is the major link between the organization and the frontline sales team and trade. The major responsibility of this role is to ensure transparency in the organization's communication and it's rolling out. He should be hand on with implementing and establishing the system and processes of the organization and its deliverables. The role would also be helpful in developing people and helping organization develop a knowledge pool for the future. Doing all these without deviating from the organization's principles.


Job Specifications/Qualifications

Education & Professional Qualifications


  • Preferably MBA


  • 5+ years of experience in sales management & 2+ years as ASM, preferably in FMCG, retail, or similar industries


  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.


  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable insights.


  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team
