Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate closely with frontend teams, ensuring seamless integration between backend and frontend technologies (React, Angular).
- Work on security-focused applications/products, such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, threat intelligence platforms, or SIEM solutions.
- Architect and implement microservices-based distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Optimize and manage databases, both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).
- Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling.
- Lead the development of web scrapers using Python frameworks like Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, or Selenium, if required.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and security best practices to continuously enhance system performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
