Join us as a PDF Accessibility Specialist and play a vital role in our digital transformation journey.


As a Senior Accessibility Specialist within the Digital Accessibility team, you will ensure our PDF documents are inclusive and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Your expertise will drive compliance with standards like WCAG 2.1 and Section 508, while collaborating with content creators, designers, and developers to enhance digital content usability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly impact our digital offerings and foster a more inclusive customer experience.


Job responsibilities


  • Evaluate and remediate PDF documents to meet accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
  • Modify PDF forms for accessibility, ensuring compliance with labels and input fields.
  • Conduct testing using assistive technologies to verify PDF usability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address accessibility issues and implement best practices.
  • Maintain documentation of the remediation process and changes made.
  • Provide training and support on creating accessible PDF documents.
  • Monitor compliance with accessibility standards to ensure ongoing adherence.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • 5+ years of experience in PDF review/remediation and document testing.
  • Experience with accessibility assessments using tools like Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG and PDF/UA standards.
  • Proficiency in screen reading software such as JAWS and NVDA.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


  • Familiarity with testing tools like PAC and Color Contrast Analyzer.
