Job Description
As a Scrum Master, you’ll be working with one or more agile cross-functional teams. You’ll be spending most of your time helping other members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate. Your job would be to:
Help educate the team in agile framework and methodologies: ScaledAgile, Scrum, Kanban, XP
Ensuring that the team follows a defined Agile practice
Identify and eliminate impediments for the team
Ensure continuous flow and periodic restoration for improvements
Facilitate and continuously engaged with the team in achieving daily and iteration goals
Enable the team to become a self-organizing team
Identify and help eliminate demotivating policies and procedures
Inspire, encourage, and motivate the team
Create a culture of relentless improvements
Provide the space for team members to innovate
Lead the team to flourish Lean-Agile Mindset
Reinforce the rules set by the team
Facilitate events - Daily SCRUM, Sprint planning, Retrospective, review, and others decided by the team
Supports the Product Owner - Manage the backlog, guide the team, define scope and priorities
Supporting Estimating - Helps the team understand how to estimate
Leader of a team from different departments with a mission of achieving sprint goals and timely releases
Ensure delivery of product goals
Address any problem that might hinder the ability of the development team from delivery.
helps the Product Manager in maintaining and grooming of the backlog
promote self-organization within the team
Conduct Scrum meetings (daily scrum, retro, sprint planning, BA/QA/Dev)
Educate the team on Scrum principles
Collaborative working with a degree of humility and provide required mentoring
