About the job Sales Executive Chemical Engineering & Intermediates

Job Purpose:


To drive sales and business development activities focusing on chemical engineering products and intermediates. The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating new business, and coordinating with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development:


  • Develop and execute strategies for the sale of chemical intermediates.
  • Generate business for both new and existing products within the chemical engineering domain.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers for new product offerings.

Customer & Supplier Coordination:


  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for the dispatch of samples, commercial orders, and all related documentation.
  • Handle customer inquiries, send offers, negotiate, and finalize orders.

Regulatory & Documentation:


  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including coordinating with suppliers for necessary documentation such as DMFs, LOA, and CEPs.
  • Provide support for imports and regulated market documentation.

Reporting & Analysis:


  • Prepare sales reports, maintain records of inquiries, and follow up on pending issues.
  • Visit customers, prepare visit reports, and document minutes of meetings.
  • Conduct sales presentations and company presentations as needed.

Requirements:


Educational Background:


  • A degree in B.Sc or B.Pharm is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in chemical engineering or related fields.

Experience:


  • 2-5 years of experience in business development and sales, particularly in the chemical engineering or intermediates sector.
  • Experience with regulated market documentation and import processes is an advantage.

Skills:


  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with international clients across different time zones.
  • Strong sales acumen, with the ability to handle sales pressure and meet targets.
  • Learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt and develop new skills.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional objectives and maintain strategic plans for business growth.
