About the role

This role provides the opportunity for an experienced and ambitious finance professional to work at the Reckitt HUB in Hyderabad and joining the Centre of Excellence team.


Team member of Reckitt’s Centre of Excellence (CoE), which is responsible for accounting of complex and/or sensitive transactions and processes remediation (e.g. Balance Sheet reconciliations, lease accounting and statutory accounting).


This role provides the opportunity for an experienced and ambitious finance professional to work at the Reckitt HUB in Hyderabad and joining the Centre of Excellence team.




Your responsibilities

Accounting


•  Performing accounting tasks related to specific CoE activities.


•  Supporting with complex transactions, including the preparation of work instructions and standard operating procedure documents.


•  Reviewing of processes and controls to ensure these are aligned with IFRS reporting requirements and corporate policies.


•  Handling of critical RTR activities related to balance sheet accounts and reconciliation.


Compliance & Remediation:


•  Building a deep understanding of the Reckitt Balance Sheet reconciliation process and the Blackline tool ensuring challenges can be identified and resolutions proposed.


•  Performing processes, JE and B/S reconciliations compliance checks, identifying root causes for deviations and proposing remediation solutions.


•  Driving the quality assurance review performed by the CoE team.




The experience we're looking for
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of End-to-End RTR process.
  • 8+ years’ accounting experience, FMCG experience desirable but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA is preferred.
  • Process improvement experience desirable.
