Revenue Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing revenue processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and supporting financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with various departments to enhance revenue strategies and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Recognition: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) for revenue recognition and reporting.
• Revenue Analysis: Analyze revenue trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and improve revenue streams.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and variances.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline revenue processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits related to revenue processes and documentation.
• Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to revenue management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue management, accounting, or finance, preferably in IT and Cloud industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
• Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, reporting tools).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Partly qualified ACCA/CA plus.
• Experience with Dynamics SL, Salesforce, NetSuite etc.
• Familiarity with GAAP Accounting, ASC 606, etc.
