The Department of Emergency Medicine was established in 2008 and since then, the department has continued to grow. The move towards an academic entity from a purely service-based unit reflected the growth in the size and importance of Emergency Medicine as a specialty in Pakistan and the region.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• remain on call for 48 hours of clinical calls per week, under the supervision of Senior Resident to look after the inpatients
• attend patients (on call day) and participate in the management of the patients with the Senior Residents
• one-year assignment for RMO includes rotation in Emergency Medicine
• any other task as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

You should have:

• MBBS degree with a valid PMDC License
• FCPS Part I in Medicine
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to work in teams as well as independently.
