It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health, and Non-communicable diseases & mental health.This is a grant-funded contractual position.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:ensure proper identification and registration of patients as per study protocolsupervise and monitor domiciliary visitsmonitor and report mortality and hospital surveillancemonitor and report on the disease surveillance from non-project facilities (private and public sectors, and NGOs)provide training to the study staff as per the protocols and guidelines of studyensure the completeness, proper filings, and archiving of the CRFsmake surprise visits to household and field sites to check quality of data collectedprepare and compile study progress reportprepare monthly project reports in collaboration with the Data Managerpresent the study results as per the requirementdevelop high quality research proposals for funding agency; conduct research and contribute in publications. RequirementsYou should have:a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Statistics / Public Health / Health Policy and Management / Psychology / Anthropology / Sociology or any other relevant field. Candidates with additional certification and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices will be preferredat least three years of experience preferably in qualitative data collection and analysisexperience in training teams in evaluation and interventionshighly organized and self-motivatedexcellent interpersonal communication skillsproven mixed methods research skillsability to work in teamsintegrity and strong research ethicsexcellent written and verbal communication skills in Englishstrong computer skillswillingness for frequent travel to remote locations for overseeing quality assurance of departmental research projects and training of local staff.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
