Research Coordinator (iRise Project), Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies Introduction:

The Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies (CETE), collaborates with the Aga Khan Development Network partners, global academic institutions, public and private sectors, and funding agencies to champion multidisciplinary research and strengthen trauma and emergency systems, disaster preparedness, and emergency responsiveness, primarily in Pakistan and the rest of the developing world.
This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position.

You will be responsible to:


  • plan and coordinate research activitiesanalyze data with a high level of competencywrite academic publications and reportsorganize and participate in investigator meetings, contributing to agendas and obtaining ERC approvalsoversee project implementation activitiesconduct field visits as neededconduct data analysis under the leadership of the PIlead in publication writingarrange or attend meetings with international and local partners and stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:


  • master's in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Public Health, Health Policy and Management, or Nursing from a reputable institute
  • a minimum of three years of working experience in collecting field quantitative and qualitative data
  • knowledge of health systems, trauma, and emergencies, or (preferably more than one of these subject areas)
  • skills in literature search and synthesis
  • a proven track record in analyzing data, including experience with relevant analysis software
  • experience in using RedCap and other electronic data collection tools
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • previous experience working on a Health project
  • experience in successful project management
  • knowledge of research on human subjects and related research ethical issues
  • proficiency in the use of computers, particularly with MS Office.
