About the job Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales efforts in their designated region. This includes developing and implementing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure that the sales objectives align with the overall Treet Battery Division strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets within the region.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific marketing campaigns.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet their sales objectives.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to the sales team.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide updates on sales performance.
- Ensure close collaboration and align himself with Treet Battery Corporate Office Strategy
- Sales Performance:
- Achieve or Exceed Monthly/Quarterly Sales Target
- Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance against these targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior management.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers of concerned consumer electronics and automotive industry stakeholders in the region.
- Address customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the national sales manager and other regional sales managers to share best practices and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree shall be preferred).
- Proven experience of overall 10 years with at least 5 years in a managerial sales role with strong knowledge of north region main cities and towns.
- Paints industry or lubricants industry experience will be preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
