The Regional Manager for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) is responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and growth of FTTH services within a designated region. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive market penetration and ensure successful delivery of FTTH solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional strategies to drive the adoption and expansion of FTTH services.
- Set and achieve regional goals for sales, customer acquisition, and service deployment.
Project Management: - Oversee the planning and execution of FTTH projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and installation teams to ensure high-quality service provision.
Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of FTTH professionals, including sales, technical, and customer service staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment through training, support, and performance management.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction with FTTH services.
Market Analysis and Development: - Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to capture market share and enhance service offerings.
Sales and Revenue Generation: - Drive sales initiatives and work with the sales team to achieve revenue targets for FTTH services.
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Operational Efficiency: - Monitor and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all FTTH operations.
Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance, project status, and market conditions to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and adjust plans as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing FTTH projects or similar telecommunications services.
- Strong understanding of FTTH technology, deployment processes, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, analyze data, and drive results.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in specific telecommunications sector or market.
- Familiarity with specific FTTH technologies or platforms.
- Knowledge of regional market conditions and customer preferences.
Working Conditions:
- Travel within the designated region is required.
- Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines and client needs.
