Position Summary:
As a Regional Business Manager, the candidate will lead a large sales team and will be managing and supervising the sales team in all five states of South India. The job needs exceptional leadership skills and the candidate is expected to deliver the business goals set by the organization. The candidate should have very good techno commercial skills and a strong understanding of the market . Candidates with a deep knowledge of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry will be preferred.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for growing profitable sales in region
• To build a high performing sales team.
• Lead Business development initiatives in the Region, with aim of improving Market Share in major /key accounts
• Focus on Channel partners, drive / monitor performance and growth
• Responsible for managing receivables in his region as per set norms
• Conduct Performance appraisals for team members and provide feedback for development areas
Essential Functions:
• Must be results oriented, assertive and self-motivated, and possess strong organizational skills to be able to achieve goals consistently
• Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to be able to influence multiple levels at customer’s organization
• Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, customer service and different levels of internal and external customers
• Must have analytical skills and intellectual ability to develop ideas, products and solutions, apply creative thinking, prepare a business plan and report quantitative data
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Science preferably in Chemistry, Biotechnology /Life Science
• 10 – 12 years of business experience in managing sales of a large territory with experience in managing regional sales teams and network of channel partners
• Proven people management/leadership and problem-solving skills
