Job Description

Overview The role is responsible to co-ordinate and ensures quality testing and data collection for reporting process and ensures statistical trend analysis of information to identify opportunities food quality improvement. The incumbent is also responsible for complete shiftily analysis of NPC lines. Responsibilities 1. Perform regular sampling, testing and monitoring of two lines (Random extruder and Schaff lines in particular) as per IPS defined frequencies and coordinate with FLM about information of product quality as well as required corrective actions to ensure product within specifications. 2. Ensure control of non-conforming Random extruder and Schaff lines finish products through PepsiCo Hold and Release guidelines and coordinate the activity with Production as well as Supply Chain effectively to avoid mishandling or dispatch of any out of specification product, Perform verification testing and close all hold incidents as defined in Hold release procedure. 3. Perform calibrations of laboratory instruments (Hunter lab, Spectra star, ovens, Oxy sampler, Freezer, pH Meter, Weighing balances and rest of the instruments) in respective shift to ensure all testing are with confidence circle 4. Ensure that product and packaging quality walls of Random extruder and Schaff lines are being performed at defined intervals to ensure product is as per defined consumer design. 5. Conduct at least one thorough line walks in Process, Packaging and Storage areas for both Random extruder and Schaff lines during the shift to ensure compliance PepsiCo Quality and Food Safety standards during the shift 6. Perform data entries for Random extruder and Schaff lines Process and packaging weak link in his/her respective shift in the SAP/defined system. 7. Perform control samples are tested (Moisture, Oil, Salt, FFA) on instruments to ensure instruments are within specs. 8. Perform-FL710 daily checks and Bias tracking, sampling, grinding, Testing + results entries in Bias Manager of Random extruder line and perform corrective action if required. Qualifications Knowledge/Skill 1. BS/MS degree in Food Technology/Chemistry/QM 2. Good knowledge of material testing and quality assessment 3. Knowledge of quality and food safety standards (preferably lead auditor) Experience 2-3 years with FMCG Competencies 1. Communication and Facilitation Skills 2.
