Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Manual QA Tester with 3–5 years of experience and a strong background in manual testing and the airline industry, particularly in Departure Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and executing test cases, analyzing requirements, tracking defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery by collaborating with development teams and stakeholders.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory)
- Testing Expertise:
- Proficiency in creating and executing functional test cases and test plans.
- Ability to independently interpret requirements and technical specifications into comprehensive test cases.
- Defect Management: Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects while working closely with development teams for resolution.
- Airline Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) and familiarity with functional processes in the domain.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with Test Managers and stakeholders and participate in review meetings.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional)
- Experience in Sprint DCS projects or similar airline-related systems.
- Knowledge of setting up and managing test environments.
- Exposure to advanced defect tracking tools or systems.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: 3–5 years in manual testing, with a focus on functional and defect testing.
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the airline industry, specifically working on DCS.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
