Job Summary:Under the supervision and support of the PMAC Project Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible for assisting in project implementation and monitoring of the activities. The role involves coordination with pharmacies and district management, data collection, data entry and ensuring the accurate compilation and input of all project-related data into the relevant database.The Project Officer will play a key role in devising and executing the monthly M&E work plan to facilitate effective monitoring and evaluation activities. Collaborating with project manager, partners, and external consultants, the officer will actively participate in routine monitoring tasks as needed. A core focus of the role is to uphold the quality of data entry while consistently meeting established deadlines. This role includes managing other project responsibilities such as helping admin and logistic tasks including but not limited to preparing for trainings and meetings, data backups, retrieving data when necessary, and maintaining the confidentiality of information contained in the data forms. The Project Officer is an integral part of ensuring the success and integrity of project efforts at the Ipas Pakistan.Reports to: Research Monitoring and Evaluation AdvisorLocation: Ipas Pakistan Country Office, IslamabadDuration: September 30, 2025Primary Responsibilities:Technical Responsibilities: To assist in implementation of project activities, including data management, analysis, documentation, and donor reporting with the support of the Project ManagerRegular and accurate compilation and entry of all project data in the relevant databaseActively monitors the progress of project activities, updates, and develops project reports as and when required.Assist program team in the routine program implementation activities preparations (training, workshops, TAG meetings etc)Develops and maintains records of project activities and conducts field visits for M&E.Technical Responsibilities: To assist in implementation of project activities, including data management, analysis, documentation, and donor reporting with the support of the Project ManagerRegular and accurate compilation and entry of all project data in the relevant databaseActively monitors the progress of project activities, updates, and develops project reports as and when required.Assist program team in the routine program implementation activities preparations (training, workshops, TAG meetings etc)Develops and maintains records of project activities and conducts field visits for M&E.Data Collection and Management Supervise data entry by pharmacists, data collection by the partner in project sitesRegular and accurate compilation and entry of project data in the relevant database.Ensure quality of data entry and meeting the desired deadlines;Prepare site visits reports and provide feedback to the partners’ data collection team for corrective actionsComply with research protocols and guidance in data collection, monitoring and feedbackManage additional responsibilities, including filling up the data for back-ups, retrieving data as and when required, and Maintaining confidentiality regarding the information in the data forms.Carry out RM&E data collection, processing, and analysis, and contribute to documentation and dissemination work, including presentation development and paper/abstract writing, and maintaining a database for Ipas submission to local and international fora/conferences.Knowledge ManagementAssist in timely and accurate reporting to donors and other stakeholders.Develop presentations, briefing papers, summary findings and other knowledge products for internal and external dissemination.Collect information and develop case studies and success storiesMaintain project photobank with captions and consent forms aligned with research ethics and protocolsAdministrative supportAssist program team in the routine program implementation activities preparations.Other tasksTravel as and when required with supervisors/CD approval.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/CD.Selection Requirements:Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy – D, Pharmacy – B and other paramedic qualificationsDesired:Masters’ or post-graduate qualification in a related field or public health Diploma or professional training certification Project Management (e.g. Prince2 or PMI, etc.) Experience and Skills Required: Vast experience of conducting monitoring, evaluation, and research in public health and donor-funded projects/programs.Strong data management skills, including experience coordinating field activities and communication among organizational staff, partners, and stakeholders.Good understanding of research protocols and ethics with regards to data collection and managementDemonstrated ability in word processing, spreadsheet (Excel), and statistical computer packages (Epi Info, SPSS, Stata) and PowerPointHave a clear understanding and compliance with data privacy and confidentiality.Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Urdu.Ability to work as an effective team player, proactive and able to work under pressure and multitasking per project/program needs- flexible to meeting short deadlines on data analysis and contribution to report development/data review and documentation.Strong interpersonal communication skills and time managementAbility and willingness to travel frequently to field areas for monitoring, follow-up, and data collection.DesiredPrior experience of working in programmes to address SRH and SGBV issues.Good facilitation skillsDeveloping and tracking log frame resultsIpas is strongly committed to providing a work environment that is free from all forms of harassment, discrimination, and inequity.
