Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you'll lead our IT projects from conception to delivery, ensuring success within scope, timeline, and budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, establish project goals, and drive execution. Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a servant leader to team(s), establishing and maintaining an environment where the team(s) can be effective, fostering a relationship between the team and the Product Owner as well as other dependent teams and protecting the team from outside interruptions.
To encourage open communication and transparency while focusing on predictability, quality delivery, continuous improvement of the team and overall program execution.
Facilitate their team to enhance creativity and try to improve the efficiency of the development team.
Oversee Scrum teams, facilitate backlog refinements, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, retrospectives, and ensure continuous improvement and predictable quality outcomes.
Work closely with the Product Owner and Business Analysts to maintain well-groomed product backlogs, plan sprints effectively, and coordinate with dependent teams.
Should be a problem solver, avid learner with the behavioural attributes of respect, integrity, innovation and teamwork.
Resolve conflict using Scrum values of commitment, courage, focus, openness and respect.
Needs to be an expert in estimation and planning. Should know how to create useful, reliable and practical plan(s) for software development project(s).
Maintain Agile charts, ratios and metrics that provide organization visibility and insight about the team morale, quality, and productivity demonstrating continuous improvement.
Utilizes team feedback and metrics to identify opportunity and areas for improvement for the teams.
Coach individuals and emphasizing interactions over processes, best practices, and tools to ensure successful deliverables.
Help team or individual to clarify goal(s) and actions to achieve them.
Ability to shield team(s) from outside distractions and interferences.
Ability to ensure the correct use of Scrum process.
Developing ability to help onboard or acts as a mentor to Scrum Masters with less experience.
Anticipate and resolve risks, dependencies, and roadblocks by collaborating with departments such as HR, PMO, IT, CS, and Management to facilitate quick resolutions.
Track the preparation work required for future sprints, including backlog refinement and the removal of showstopper impediments.
Has experience in educating and promoting Agile engineering practices such as pair programming, continuous delivery, Test-driven development (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and refactoring.
Ability to evaluate and inspect the performance of teams and individuals with quarterly with transparency using proven key performance indicators.
Act as a career coach for team members to help them understand and identify their natural talents and strengths, grooming their competencies, career paths, and personalities to reach their fullest potential.
Build solid understanding of the US HealthCare IT domain – Provide feedback to the Business Analysis team on the documentation and UXI.
Close collaboration with Client Services to watch Support tickets SLAs and opportunities for improvements.
Coach Agile Practices and Scrum Values to cultivate right culture in the teams.
Resolve inter-team and intra-team conflicts, impediments and roadblocks.
Create communication channels between the organization, Product Owner, developers, and stakeholders.
Implement Processes and Policies.
Qualifications:
9 to 12 years of relevant Software development experience in with a solid delivery track record.
Bachelor's degree in Computer, Engineering, Management Sciences, or other relevant degree.
Strong knowledge of Software Engineering, SDLC, Agile frameworks, DevOps and processes.
Proven experience in coaching teams through Values, Project Management standards, Engineering best practices, quality assurance, backlog management, and team performance metrics.
Knowledge and understanding of backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
Ability to receive feedback constructively to improve development.
Excellent presentation, coaching, and engagement skills to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders.
Experience of US Healthcare IT industry project delivery will be preferred.
Enterprise level Software as Service (Saas) Product development experience will be preferred.
Candidates with a demonstrated track record of consistent, long-term career commitments will be preferred.
Masters in Project Management or PMP, PSM, CSM, S@S, SAFe certification(s) will be preferred.
