DescriptionINTECH Process Automation is looking for an energized and capable professional for the role of a Project Manager Instrument and Control (PMIC), the primary objective of a Project Manager is to ensure that the project is completed within the defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. It is a specialized role within the field of project management that focuses on the management of projects related to instrumentation and control systems.
- Completely responsible for the Profit and Loss of the project
- Ensure that all assigned projects are delivered with high-quality deliverables as per schedule, within the scope, and within budget
- Understand and confirm to all contractual (commercial and technical) requirements of the project
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation on project tasks. Perform/manage Team HRD to cover any skill gaps
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Prepare project plan/schedule using tools and processes adopted by INTECH and manage it during the execution of the project
- Manage project procurement with the support of the Supply chain/procurement department
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
- Develop project quality plan and perform quality assurance as well as quality control
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques as adopted by INTECH
- Report and escalate to the INTECH management and customer/End User/project stakeholders as needed
- Perform project closure
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize/mitigate project risks with the support of the Project Portfolio Manager
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Watch the Company’s interest and ask for fair Change Orders, when appropriate
- Target repeat business from existing customers without a bidding process through good business relationships and quality of work
- Travel to project sites, other INTECH’s offices, and customers' offices (local/international) as per business requirements and/or when advised by management.
- Observe Company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Technical Account Management of assigned customers in the territory/region
- Support in sales (on a demand basis) in business development and pre-award activities with the consent of the project portfolio manager
- Provide technical guidance (on a demand basis) to the organization’s global execution teams
Requirements- Bachelor’s/Master Degree in engineering field
- 12+ years’ of work experience in international projects & engineering of Instrument & Control Systems
