UNFPA works with key actors at national and sub-national levels to create an enabling policy and programmatic environment; improve coordination and implementation to accelerate delivery of Reproductive & maternal health, and family planning information and services in the country and contribute to the achievement of the country SDG and ICPD commitments and targets.
The Programme Analyst will lead and coordinate the overall portfolio of SRH/FP in Sindh province including the implementation of “Promoting reproductive health and well-being of women and girls in Sindh" project. As such, She/He will support UNFPA and its Implementing Partners in designing, managing, monitoring and implementing programme initiatives especially, in the areas of Maternal health, EmONC, family planning and adolescent & youth health information and services.

Job Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Head of UNFPA Sindh office and technical guidance by the National Program Specialist SRH, the Programme Analyst will be responsible for leading the SRH/FP portfolio in Sindh Province including the implementation of the “Promoting reproductive health and well-being of women and girls in Sindh"” project. In this pursuit, She/He will be providing overall technical leadership and guidance in the assessment, planning, conceptualization, implementation, monitoring & reporting, and documentation of various initiatives under the UNFPA assistance programme in Sindh. This will involve support for improved access to gender-responsive, rights-based, and high-quality EmONC & family planning information and services in the ‘Improving Access to Rights Based Family Planning for Underserved Communities in Sindh’ project’s targeted areas with poor Maternal Health & family planning indicators, especially those furthest behind, enabling women of reproductive age to exercise their reproductive rights, free of coercion, and discrimination, awareness for the girls and adolescents to improve their reproductive health, and menstrual hygiene.
In addition, the Programme Analyst will provide technical support to ongoing interventions in Sindh province on maternal health, EmONC, family planning and adolescent & youth health information and services.
