Job Summary:


DuPont Electronics & Industrial business has an open position as a Laboratory Technician for MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants. This position will be located in Hyderabad, India. MOLYKOTE® specialty lubricants are designed and engineered to solve lubrication-related problems and save energy by reducing friction and wear. We offer a broad portfolio of specialty lubricants including greases, anti-seize pastes, multipurpose oils, specialty compounds, dispersions, anti-friction coatings and more, for a wide range of applications in automotive, industrial, appliance and maintenance. 


The Product Quality Engineer (Lab Contractor) will focus on ensuring product quality through rigorous testing and analysis in a laboratory environment located in Hyderabad. This role involves collaborating with the Technical Service & Development (TS&D) team to evaluate lubricant performance, maintain lab operations, manage chemical inventory, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct laboratory testing and evaluations of lubricants to assess quality and performance against specifications.
  • Support the Technical Service & Development (TS&D) team with technical data, evaluations, and reports related to lubricants.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols and quality assurance plans for new and existing products.
  • Assist in maintaining lab equipment and ensuring operational efficiency through regular servicing and calibration.
  • Manage chemical inventory responsibly, ensuring all materials are stored properly and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate lab documentation, including test results, inventory records, and compliance reports.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product issues, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with TS&D to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within lab processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:


  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or BE Me handicap Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Knowledge of lubricant testing methods and laboratory practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with product development and testing processes in a lab environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQI) is a plus.
