Job Description

Oracle Hospitality & Leisure Global Industry Unit provides best-in-class products for the hospitality industry, including the leading Property Management System, OPERA PMS, used by more than 40k properties worldwide across 190 countries.


The Senior Product Manager will oversee business analysis and functional designs, ensuring seamless delivery of software features in alignment with business objectives and customer needs. This role is critical in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet enterprise requirements.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:


  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align product goals with business objectives.
  • Conducting business analysis and preparing functional designs to guide the engineering team.
  • Overseeing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring features are delivered fully functional and on time.
  • Working closely with other Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinating with the QA Manager to ensure software quality and collaborating with the technical publication team on release management documentation.

Required skills and experience:


  • 10+ years of experience in a product management or product ownership role.
  • Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology, with proficiency in Atlassian and Microsoft solutions (Jira, Confluence, MS Office).
  • Technical fluency, with knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, Integration APIs, Authentication protocols, SFTP, and SMTP.
  • Familiarity with OPERA v5 or OPERA Cloud is a strong plus, along with prior experience in hospitality applications.
  • Awareness of UX/UI design principles and ability to collaborate with designers to improve user experience.
  • Understanding of QA processes (e.g., unit testing, regression testing).
  • Awareness of data security and compliance, including GDPR and PCI/PA-DSS as they relate to the hospitality sector.
  • Skilled in writing user stories, functional designs, user guides, and release documentation.
  • Experience working with APIs, software architecture, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • A proven history of working with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, documentation specialists, and QA professionals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or in-office from locations within India
