Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Product Developer for H&M Woven/ Denim. As a Product Developer, your main objectives will be to ensure the Production teams and suppliers know our customers and are aware of the latest trends.  You have ownership in securing product development process end to end, which involves product risk assessment & best product from a customer perspective, in alignment with the assortment strategy.  Key Responsibilities:  Manage the end-to-end development process, ensuring quality, price, lead time, and sustainability align with H&M’s global assortment strategy.Always work with the customer in mind, observe how customers react to trends and contemporary life to be prepared to communicate with the designer.Educate suppliers, develop sustainable components, and explore local market opportunities to enhance product offerings.Drive sustainable innovations, stay updated on fashion trends, and introduce new components and processes.Act as the on-ground product representative, ensuring smooth product development flow and resolving challenges effectively.Align with global teams by maintaining a transparent and well-communicated product development strategy.QualificationsAs the Product Developer, you have fashion sensibility with very strong technical knowledge on denim product and a deep understanding of sustainable standards, yarn, and component attributes such as wash, print etc. You are business minded with strong negotiation skills and a vast understanding of pricing from a global perspective. You have good global market knowledge and the ability to seek out and implement further opportunities that could strengthen our customer offer. It is important as well to have a proactive and problem-solving approach to both identify and apply solutions to challenges connected to product development. You communicate and collaborate closely with global teams as well as directly with T1 & T2 suppliers. Have a good understanding of the global T2 base and support in keeping it relevant and updated to match the global strategies within the BU and H&M. You work hand in hand with all stakeholders to co-execute the strategies and activities set from Assortment and Production. Through all of this you work daily as a role model towards our H&M values.Apart from these skills, you must also have:Academic background in Textile Engineering is preferable.5-7 years of working experience in similar role, preferably in textile industryAbility to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously. Experience in coordinating and managing stakeholders A flexible, positive, and inspirational team player Additional InformationThis is a full-time position.
