Job Description
We are seeking a QA Engineer to test and analyze third-party API integrations, ensuring seamless backend performance. This role requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and proactive communication to collaborate across teams and partners globally.
Responsibilities
- Test 3rd party APIs using Postman or similar tool
- Analyze 3rd party API documentation
- Identify inconsistencies, problems or ambiguities in the API behavior
- Communicate with partners to troubleshoot issues
- Communicate technical updates to internal stakeholders in a timely fashion
- Monitor existing API integrations for problems - analyze logs, build dashboards,check queues, etc.
- Help with planning & prioritizing
Requirements
- 5+ years working experience in professional environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders
- and be a driving force
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with testing or using REST & SOAP APIs
- Strong understanding of JSON & XML
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Excellent time management skills and desire to work across time zones (big part of
- tech team is in USA) – be able to overlap till 9pm (PKT)
- Experience with Python or any other scripting language
- Experience with Datadog / Seq / Scalyr or other log analysis tool
