Responsibilities
Leverage expertise with cloud technologies (AWS Redshift), SQL, ETL/ ELT tools, API integrations, and modern data engineering tools like DBT to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable data solutions that adhere to high data quality and governance standards
Conquer complex problems by finding new ways to solve with simple, efficient approaches with a focus on reliability, scalability, quality, and cost of our platforms
Collaborate with the team to perform root cause analysis and audit internal and external data and processes to help answer specific business questions
Develop and maintain API integrations to extract and load data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow, integration with internal and external systems
Collaborate closely with Data analysts, BI developers, and Analytics engineers to understand their data requirements and provide them with reliable, secure, accessible, and high-quality data
Schedule and orchestrate the jobs using tools like Airflow or proficiency working in event-driven architecture and lambdas to trigger jobs
Requirements
7-9 years of design & development experience with big data technologies like AWS
Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS (S3, RDS, Glue) and data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift
Experience with ETL/ ELT tools, data warehousing optimization, data modeling, and DBT
Experience with API ingestion and integration
Experience with Shopify, E-Commerce companies, or Subscription-Based companies preferred
Strong team member, communicator, and collaborative thought partner when it comes to development and execution of business logic
Ability to develop business logic to the level of business requirements outlined for the task
Willing to work in US time zone. Shift timings are from 9 PM to 6 AM
